Who’s Rootie?

Wife,mother,dog owner,chief cook and bottle-washer. I live in the Deep South ‘midst the Rednecks and Baptists. My weekend begins with a nice rum and coke and ends with another rum and coke. My husband is a hard-working Captain of Industry, my very best friend, and the love of my life. My children are boys young men in various stages of development, with 2 fledged and on their own, 1 driving but still relying on me for…something, and 1 who still sits in my lap and acts happy to see me. I am unashamedly old fashioned. I write about what I know, my life, my problems, my joys, and my family. Because it really is personal, after all.
