Here’s the website for National Drunk Blogging Day, or International Drunk Blogging Day, whatever you call it…there it is.
Grab the picture and post it. If you know how to link it to the website above, do so. I don’t know how to do that.

ok, a few years back NorthernGirl and I conceived and gave birth (thanks to the miracle of the Interwebs) of a concept called NaDruBloDa: National Drunk BLogging Day. Of course, thanks to the very nature of the Interwebs, it was more of an international event, with participants from Australia and Canada , but NaDruBloDa rolls off the tongues easier than InNaDruBloDa, but if you want to call it that, fine by me.
The point is, for a single 24 hour period, or however long you retain the mental facilities to do so, you Drunk Blog. The results were…fascinating. The degredation of cognition and coordination (no editing allowed) were evident. No Designated Typing Allowed. There was even a group in Atlanta that took their laptops to a local bar and participated.
Anyway, the resurrection of the concept was brought to me by a friend, and I think, even on this short notice, it is time to reintroduce NaDruBloDa. I’m going to look for the cute little logo designed by mine own Will: a cocktail glass with a laptop computer dunked in it, when I do, I’ll post it, you grab it and put it on your site with a link. Then, the day ot the event, leave a comment here so we all know you’re participating and other people can link to your blog and follow the slow demise of your sensibilities and cognition. I promise to do the same.
We ask only one condition: that you be somewhere safe, at home or a friends, where you do not have to get yourself home afterwards, and have a place to collapse and sleep it off. I will not be held responsible if you step in front of a bus.
Saturday, January 2 or Saturday, January 9…what say ye? Are you in or are you out?
