Because it really is personal…

What a great trip, Paradise indeed, we are already TOTALLY planning the next one. The boys behaved (as best we can tell) whle we were gone. No one got pregnant, no one blew up the house. CJ brought home a puppy he picked up from the dump, fed her, flea bathed her and has adopted her. She’s cute. Not a dachshund but she can’t help that. Picture soon. I am camera’d out.
There are some 2000-ish pictures to sift through and write posts about. I’ve decided that we are going to move to Missouri. Sweet Daddio will need to find a job there, of course, but the people, the food, the everything…it’s my kind of place. Remind me to look disdainfully at anyone who makes a disparaging remark about ‘flyover country’, because Kansas and Missouri are My Kind of People ™

I noticed the west (Tx and Oklahoma) have alot of religious billboards, mostly having to do with “abortion stops a beating heart” and “there are 77 abortions every hour in the US” (highlighted with 77 little crosses on the gorund under it), but when you get into Kansas and Missouri the tone changes to “Jesus Loves you, and You…and even You” kind of stuff.

Tulsa deserves a whole post on it’s own. I’m going back to Tulsa because it was NOTHING like the dirty, ugly industrial town I’d thought it was. It was gorgeous. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. It mixes Old with New and there’s a church on every corner (even 3 on one corner: Baptist, Church of Christ and Church of Scientology). Tulsa was awesome.

Anyway, travel related posts at Welcome to Paradise. Color commentary here.
I like Missouri. I want to live in Missouri. Central MIssouri, like Springfield or Joplin or even Carthage. Go Missouri! You Rock!
