Pictures eventually.
He got a 2008 GMC Canyon 4-door. It’s nice, it’s a truck, he’s happy. Franklin Chevrolet was good to me. The salesman and I chatted, then it came out we moved here from Auburn and his face brightened and he said ” War Eagle!” and the rest is history. He was young- like 24 or 25, very matter of fact and no-bullshitty. For those who don’t get it, connecting with someone who went to Auburn is almost like finding a long-lost cousin. It will Get Things Done.
And so it’s done!
In other news, while we were signing papers, the school called. Apparently #4 (he’s 9) got caught with a pocketknife. *SCREEEECH* What?? Yeah. Just a little bitty one, so they didn’t have to call the National Guard and Swat teams in. I asked my friend JerseyChick if the principal at her school every called her about her kids. Right…she homeschools. Oh well.

Comment by northern girl May 14, 2008 @ 9:46 pmFor 100 day (one hundred school days) when every 2nd grader had to bring in 100 of something, like M&M’s, my kid brought in 100 spent 22 shell caseings. I thought he might serve time for it.
