I have looked at Silverados, but since I fit in the Colorado nicely (not to be assumed when you are 6'4" and weigh 275) I'm going for the better mileage. Silverados are great trucks (I'm a die hard Chevy fan). Hey- Indiana Mom- tell them about the truck I drove in High School...... Rusty has a '97 Silverado. It still runs great. One time when he had to take it to the mechanic for something, she (yes, she!) was begging him to sell it to her. Naturally he did not.
